ERU ITT Technical Training

Objective

This training will provide you with knowledge about IT and telecommunications in international missions.

The seminar is intended for active and future delegates of the ERU ITT of the AutRC or other national RC societies.

The emphasis of the training will be on hands-on training with the equipment.

This training is open to international participants.

• Main topic date 2: Radio

Content

• Radio and radio network technologies and equipment
• Configuration of IFRC standard radios, investigation of new equipment
• IT network technologies and equipment - network planning
• Configuration of IFRC standard network equipment, survey of new equipment
• Satellite Communications Technologies and Equipment
• Electricity (AC, Solar and Battery DC) Basics / Installation
• Briefing on IFRC standard

Requirements

• Telecoms or electrical engineering at a technical college or suitable vocational training with a completed master craftsman's certificate or other proven extensive professional experience in relevant fields.
• Nominated by your Branch or National RC Society
• English (at least B1 level)
