IFRC VISIT TO AUSTRIAN RED CROSS

The meeting also included a visit to the Austrian Red Cross HQ, and the Austrian Red Cross Blood Donation Center, a meeting with the REDpreneur partners New Paradigm Ventures and Impact Hub Vienna and a presentation on NSD Updates with focus on among others Financial Sustainability and Funds for National Society Development to the audience of the Austrian Red Cross International Operations and Cooperation Unit Division.

Together with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the IFRC NSD Unit  Department provides financial support to National Societies through several different funds  and we are glad to share with you two videos explaining the Capacity Building Fund and the Empress Shoken Fund.

• The Empress Shôken Fund, run jointly by the IFRC and ICRC, provides small annual grants to support the peacetime activities of National Societies.
