WASH Train of Trainers
Aim
To build a cadre of skilled trainers who can cascade WASH specific knowledge and skills throughout the RCRC Movement or in a community, ensuring consistency, quality, and effectiveness in trainings.
Objectives
By the end of the training, participants will be able to
- facilitate WASH trainings in challenging environments without hampering or losing training content and objectives
- facilitate learning sessions with advanced training techniques, methods, and tools to engage diverse audiences
- design, adapt, and customize training materials and curricula that align with specific learning objectives and audience needs
- teach participants how to assess the effectiveness of their training sessions, including methods for measuring participant engagement, knowledge retention, and behavioral change
- deliver training content with confidence, managing classroom dynamics, and handling challenging situations, ensuring they can lead sessions with authority and ease
General information
The Train the Trainer (ToT) workshop is to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to effectively train others to deliver WASH trainings, workshops, and campaigns. It focuses on equipping trainers with basic and advanced techniques in instructional design, delivery, and evaluation, enabling them to create engaging, impactful, and sustainable learning experiences.
Requirements
- Completed national WASH Basic Training
- Nomination by your branch or National RC Society
- Good social and presentation skills
- English (at least B2 level)
